Ethiopian Postal Service Collects 230 Mn Birr in Six Months
Ethiopian Postal Service Enterprise said it has collected 230 million birr during the past six months. The amount has been collected from handling over four million total mail traffic through the Ethiopian Postal Service s handling of letter post, parcel post, and EMS services.
Hanna AreyaSelassie, CEO of Ethiopian Postal Service Enterprise, told the media the enterprise has been undergoing various reform activities. The reform activities, she pointed out, have been aimed at modernizing work, optimizing operations, as well as providing customers with fast and effective service. The reform activities entailed restructuring the institutional setup, minimizing cost, and paying off outstanding debts.
