Former West Virginia guard Jordan McCabe is heading to UNLV.
McCabe spent three seasons at WVU before entering the NCAA’s transfer portal two days after the Mountaineers’ season-ending loss to Syracuse.
On Thursday, the 6-foot McCabe offered his commitment to UNLV, where he will play for first-year Rebels’ head coach Kevin Kruger. Kruger is the son of recently retired Oklahoma coach Lon Kruger.
McCabe’s decision to transfer didn’t come as a surprise considering his playing time decreased in each of his three seasons at West Virginia.
