The El Campo Police Department is once more teaming with DEA for a drug take-back program.Â
Simply visit the lobby of ECPD Headquarters, 1011 West Loop, to drop off expired or unused drugs or over the counter medication from now until April 25 in the designated box. No questions asked.
Participants are asked to remove labels or at least scratch out names.
The take-back program does not accept aerosol cans, needles or vape pens.

⢠Javier Paul Contreras, 19, of El Campo, was arrested on an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon felony warrant charge by the Wharton Police Department at 9:03 p.m., Dec. 21;
⢠Ivory Edwards IV, 26, of Richmond, was arrested on an unlawfully carrying a weapon misdemeanor charge and a terroristic threat of family/household misdemeanor charge by WPD at 7:57 a.m., Dec. 21;
