GLEN BURNIE, Md. â Anne Arundel County Police have now learned that Cepeda was not acting in an official Lyft capacity at the time that he drove the victim to Glen Burnie, but at this point they re not sure if he displayed a Lyft placard in his car or was posing as a Lyft driver. -
It was nine oâclock at night on Wednesday, April 28
th when the 26-year-old victim caught her ride from an undisclosed hotel on Elkridge Landing Road near BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport, and the driver transported her to a hotel on Governor Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie.

Anne Arundel County police are asking for the public s help in tracking down a man who they said sexually assaulted a woman.
Investigators said a woman was driven by someone she didn t know Wednesday night from Elkridge Landing Road in Linthicum to Glen Burnie, where she was attacked at knifepoint. Our hearts go out. This was a very traumatic event, Anne Arundel County police Sgt. Kam Cooke said.
Instead of driving the woman to her desired destination, police said the man took her minutes away to a parking lot off Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie. (The) suspect parked by a dumpster and then got her out of the car and sexually assaulted her, Cooke said.

On Wednesday April 28, 2021, at approximately 10:00 p.m. officers from the Anne Arundel County Police Department responded to the 6300 block of Ritchie Highway for a rape that just occurred. The adult female victim stated she had a ride arranged for her where she was picked up by an adult male in the 800 block of Elkridge Landing Road, Linthicum, Maryland. The male then drove her to the 6300 block of Ritchie Highway.
The victim advised the driver drove her around the parking lot where he parked by a set of dumpsters. The male then pulled the victim from the car and pulled her behind the dumpsters.
