Chicago Bears running back Tarik Cohen and his family are facing yet another unbelievable tragedy on this Mother’s Day holiday.
According to multiple media reports, Cohen’s twin brother was found dead at a Duke Energy substation in North Carolina Sunday morning.
“Police identified Tyrell Antar Cohen, 25, after he was reported missing and later found dead at the Duke Energy substation,” a local ABC News affiliate in North Carolina reported. “Deputies with the Wake County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Duke Energy substation around 9 a.m. after an employee found Cohen’s body inside the perimeter.”

The brother of a Bears player was found dead at a North Carolina electrical substation on Sunday, authorities said.
The News & Observer reports that Tyrell Antar Cohen, twin brother of running back Tarik Cohen, is believed to have died by electrocution while trying to climb power equipment, according to Wake County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Eric Curry.
Curry said Tyrell Cohen fled the scene of a car accident in Raleigh early Saturday morning. Police tried to locate the 25-year-old but couldn’t, so they called off the search.
Cohen’s family filed a missing-person report with the police department Saturday night, according to Curry, and officers started looking for him again Sunday morning.

RALEIGH, N.C. Tyrell Cohen, the 25-year-old twin brother of an NFL running back, was found dead Sunday in Raleigh, NC, and local police believe he was electrocuted while attempting to flee law enforcement.
The Wake County Sheriff’s Office said Cohen, brother of Chicago Bears star Tarik Cohen, tried to climb equipment at an electrical company in Raleigh when he was killed, ABC News reported.
