Hours after 11-year-old Alyssa admitted she was able to help authorities catch the man trying to kidnap her from watching the crime drama series, the actress portraying Detective Olivia Benson on the show joked that her TV squad might need to add slime to their gear.

A Florida man was arrested after an 11-year-old girl fought back during an attempted kidnapping and escaped to safety, the Escambia County sheriff said.
In a heart-stopping video recently shared by Escambia County Sheriff’s Office on Facebook, a man gets off from a white Dodge Journey and makes a beeline for a young girl playing near a bus stop. He then tries to grab her and as the girl struggles in his arms, they both fall to the ground. After a quick look around he rushes back to his vehicle and flees the scene while the kid grabs her bag and rushes in the opposite direction.
Actor Mariska Hargitay praised 11-year-old Alyssa Bonal who used a tip from the show Law and Order to help find her kidnappers. On Tuesday, the Florida girl fought off a kidnapping attempt at her school bus stop that was caught on surveillance tape. Hargitay, who has been playing the role of Olivia Benson on Law & Order: SVU for 22 years said in a touching post on Instagram: “Alyssa, first and most important, I am so relieved and grateful to.
The 11-year-old girl who fought off an alleged kidnapping attempt this week said she marked her attacker with the blue slime she had been playing with because she knew that might be better evidence if the cops did find him.

On Tuesday, an 11-year-old girl was waiting for the school bus in Pensacola, Florida, when a man armed with a knife charged at her. It was 7:00 a.m. broad daylight and the suspected was attempting to abduct the girl.
But she fought back.
Surveillance video released by the Escambia County Sheriff s Office shows a white Dodge Journey pull up and a man get out and run toward the girl. She picks up her backpack and runs, but the suspect grabs her. The girl was able to struggle free and the suspect flees the scene.
