A 40-year-old female fell asleep at the wheel at 2:16 a.m. Sunday, May 2, resulting in a rollover crash on 98th Street Southeast 4 miles south of Geneseo in Sargent County. According to a report from the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Tammy Fay Kleinwachter was traveling north on County Road 14 when she fell asleep and left the roadway on a curve. Her vehicle entered the south ditch and was launched over a field approach, the report said. The vehicle overturned and came to a rest on its passenger side. Kleinwachter was the only one in the vehicle, and exited the car on her own before being transported to Essentia Health in Fargo. According to NDHP, Kleinwachter suffered injuries that weren t life-threatening.
