Moorhead Woman Dies From Injuries In January Crash

KVRR Local News February 10, 2021 Highway Patrol reports 45-year-old Kandyce Blumhagen died last Friday at Sanford Health in Fargo. Blumhagen’s vehicle and another vehicle crashed head on on Highway 46 in the early evening hours of January 12th. The other driver, 49-year-old Alan Peterson of Forman, was pulled from his vehicle by a witness on scene before it started on fire. He was taken to Essentia Health in Fargo with injuries. The crash remains under investigation.

Schaefer said once FCPH receives its anticipated vaccine sometime early next week the agency will set up a site to administer the vaccine and invite first responders to come in to get a shot. Originally, workers like emergency medical providers and fire department workers were included in the category of those who can be first in line for the vaccine from the public health agency, but Schaefer said law enforcement workers were recently included as well. Schaefer said while it appears there will be a gap between vaccine supply and the needs of FCPH early on, she stressed that that gap is expected to shrink quickly with the arrival of additional vaccine deliveries.
