The 148.5 MW wind farm to power the equivalent of 125,000 households in India
Continuum Green Energy to supply, install and commission 55 sets of its 2.7-132 onshore wind turbines for the
148.5 MW Morjar, Bhuj wind farm in Gujarat, India.
The project was won by Continuum Green Energy during the tranche-VI auction of wind projects by Solar Energy Corporation of India and will produce enough green energy to power 125,000 households in India.
This is another success for GE’s 2.7-132 wind turbine which has proven to be the technology of choice for customers in India due to its industry leading performance at India’s low wind speeds. Poland: Vestas receives 108 MW order in Poland from DIF Capital Partners
14 Jun 2021 DIF Capital Partners for four projects in Poland, all awarded in
Poland’s second auction round from 2019, cumulatively totalling 108 MW in capacity.
The four projects are
Pruszcz (70 MW), Markowice (26 MW), Piaski (8 MW) and
Wyszki (4 MW). The Pruszcz and Markowice projects are located in Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship, while the Piaski and Wyszki projects are situated in Wielkopolskie Voivodeship.
Across the four projects Vestas will supply and install 52 V100-2.0 MW turbines, as well as two V90-2.0 MW turbines. These orders build on the more than 2.6 GW of installed wind capacity that Vestas has already delivered in Poland.
Petrobras has signed a contract with the joint venture formed by Saipem and DSME in the amount of US$ 2.3 billion for the supply of P-79, the eighth unit to be installed in Buzios field, in the Santos Basin pre-salt area. The delivery is scheduled for 2025.

Bioenergy with carbon capture and storage (BECCS) at Drax can enable the renewable energy company to become carbon negative by 2030 – permanently removing more CO2 from the atmosphere than is emitted across its operations.
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries to develop new centre of excellence for Carbon Capture and Use and Storage (CCUS) in London as well as looking at ways to strengthen its supply chain, including the potential production of its proprietary solvent in the UK.
Canada: Wood extends partnership on Hibernia in Eastern Canada

Wood will build upon its long-standing partnership with
Hibernia Management and Development Company (HMDC) following the renewal of a major contract to provide engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) solutions and maintenance to the
Hibernia platform off the coast of St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador.
With the five-year extension agreement, Wood will continue to employ up to 300 people on the contract, which it has been supporting as the incumbent contractor for these services since first oil in 1997. This renewal demonstrates the strength of our relationship with HDMC and ongoing support of the Hibernia offshore platform developed over the last two decades
