SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The American Legion Post 795 is joining Boy Scout Troop #594 to retire American and POW/MIA flags on Flag Day, June 14 at 5:30 p.m. The Lake Tahoe Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution has been gathering used flags unable to be flown for official disposal during the Flag Retirement Ceremony.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The Lake Tahoe Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution is teaming with the American Legion Post 795 and Boy Scout Troop 594 in conducting a Flag Retirement Ceremony on Flag Day, June 14. The ceremony will be held at the American Legion on Lake Tahoe Boulevard.
If you have a US flag that is worn and cannot be flown, please contact the Lake Tahoe Chapter, NSDAR Regent Rosemary Manning at rosemarymanning@gmail.com and the group can pick it up. You can also drop off the flag at the American Legion Post 795, 2748 Lake Tahoe Blvd.
