th, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. virtually; according to a recent press release.

Blood drive in St. James
An American Red Cross blood drive will be held noon to 6 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. to noon Friday at First Presbyterian Church, 706 Third Ave in St. James. Extra sanitization will be in place. Please wear a face covering and practice good physical distancing. To schedule an appointment, please call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visit redcrossblood.org. Donors of all blood types are needed. Everyone is encouraged to donate blood to keep up with the challenging demands due to the pandemic and the winter season.

(KXLG)- A Webster Police Officer has been recognized by the Day County Sheriff’s Office for his actions which helped save the life of a semi driver during a Dec. 23 blizzard in northeastern South Dakota.
Officer Dylan Collins had just come on-duty at 6am when he was dispatched to the crash on Highway 12 west of Webster.
