Around 1 p.m. on Sunday, Head said there was a boat containing up to 10 people on board that started taking on water as they were headed back to the courtesy dock.
Waves from another watercraft added more water to the sinking boat, forcing two passengers into the water.
Head said within seconds, the boat was underwater. One of the passengers in the water was a special needs individual who uses a wheelchair.
Marina employee Micah Brown was gassing up another boat when he saw the boat and individuals go into the water.

Workers at Lake Barkley Marina are being credited with saving lives Sunday afternoon when a capsized boat sent people into the lake and pinned a woman under the water.
Tammi Head is the general manager of the marina and said just before 1 o’clock, a boat began taking on water as it approached the courtesy dock. Wake from other watercraft added more water and quickly caused two people, including a passenger in a wheelchair, to go into the water. Head said that’s when marina employees Max Bauserman and Micah Brown went to help.
