SR 520 bridge to close Friday night
Q13 s Adam Gehrke provides an update for drivers heading through Western Washington including the SR 520 floating bridge over Lake Washington set to temporarily close throughout this weekend.
SEATTLE - The SR-520 floating bridge over Lake Washington will be closed in both directions this weekend while crews make upgrades.
The closure, from Montlake Boulevard in Seattle to 92nd Avenue Northeast in Clyde Hill, starts at 11 p.m. Friday and lasts until 5 a.m. Monday (March 5-8).
Crews are installing the final 30 concrete beams, or girders, to support a lid over the highway in Montlake.

SEATTLE The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) will close all lanes of the State Route 520 floating bridge across Lake Washington this weekend.
The floating bridge connects Seattle to the Eastside of King County.
The bridge will close at 11 p.m. Friday, March 5 between Montlake Boulevard in Seattle and 92nd Avenue Northeast on the Eastside. The bridge is expected to reopen at 5 a.m. on Monday, March 8.
