A father and son escaped injuries after their snowmobile fell through the ice of Lake Victoria east of Alexandria on Sunday, Jan. 24.
At 4:54 p.m., the Douglas County Sheriff s Office responded to a report that James Jevnager, 32, of Alexandria and his son drove a snowmobile into the open water next to the Lake Victoria Fishing Pier.
The two were able to get themselves out of the water with no injuries, according to the sheriff s office.
