The Airdrie 2020 Alberta Winter Games Society recently visited city council to recap last year’s events.
“It’s incredible to think of what we were doing just a year ago,” said Shauna Quinn, chair of the 2020 Alberta Winter Games Society.

“Airdrie was buzzing with over 10,000 visitors from Feb. 14 to 17, 2020. It was one of the greatest public events happening at the time in Alberta.
Shortly after the Winter Games, the pandemic hit in March bringing an end to large events.
