Deputies arrest New Iberia man after home invasion call

NEW IBERIA, La. â The Iberia Parish Sheriff s Office say they have arrested a New Iberia man after responding to a home invasion call Thursday in the 1800 block of Wanda Street.
IPSO say they located Dwight Williams inside the home who was wanted for an arrest warrant from Feb. 23.
According to IPSO, Williams charges from the arrest warrant from Feb. 23, 2021 are as follows:
LA RS 14:62.8 Home Invasion
LA RS 14:34.9 Dating Partner Abuse
LA RS 14:56 Simple Criminal Damage to Property
LA RS 14:95.1 Felon in Possession of a Firearm

Area police departments experiencing issues with calls from AT&T customers

UPDATE: Franklin PD and New Iberia PD says calls are now going through properly at their office. -
Some area police departments are currently having issues receiving calls from AT&T customers.
Rayne, Franklin, and New Iberia Police are all experiencing the technical difficulties; landlines and other cell phone carriers are not affected. The Iberia Parish Sheriff s Office is also unable to receive calls, and the St. Mary Parish Sheriff s Office is experiencing some issues as well.
AT&T customers or any AT&T subsidiary customer should call 911 if there is an emergency.
UPDATE - Iberia Parish Deputies report they have located Krystal Toutcheque and her four children.
According to KATC Iberia Parish Deputies have located a woman and her four children who had not been heard from for almost a year .
Detectives met with Krystal Toutcheque and her four kids earlier today (03/09/21) and completed a welfare check.
No other information was given by authorities.
