Show Transcript WHAT HE HAS LEARNED FROM INVESTIGATOR MARCUS: ABOUT 5:40 TUESDAY MORNING THE WRIGHT COUNTY SHERIFFS DISPATCH GOT THE CALL AND WHEN SHERIFF’S ARRIVED ON SCENE THEY FOUND ONE EMPLOYEE DECEASED AND TOOK ANOTHER INTO CUSTODY. THE ONLY INDICATION ANYTHING IS OUT OF THE ORDINARY AT PRESTAGE FOODS OF IOWA ARE THESE WRIGHT COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE VEHICLES. AND THIS STATEMENT FROM THE COMPANY, THERE WAS AN INCIDENT BETWEEN TWO INDIVIDUAL RESULTING IN A FATALITY AT THE PLANT IN EAGLE GROVE THIS MORNING. THE WRIGHT COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE WAS DISPATCHED HERE O THE REPORT OF A STABBING THEY FOUND A DECEASED INDIVIDUA LOCATED INSIDE THE EMPLOYEE LOCKER ROOM AREA. EAGLE GROVE, Iowa A murder investigation at a Northern Iowa meat processing plant.
The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation says the stabbing happened early Tuesday morning at the Prestage Farms plant in Eagle Grove.
DCI says Wright County Sheriff s deputies found the victim inside the plant s employee locker room area.
They say the sheriff s office has one person in custody.
DCI says the initial investigation shows victim and suspect knew each other
Neither the victim nor the suspect have been identified
