SINN Féin minister Michelle O Neill is to attend a Royal British Legion wreath-laying ceremony for the first time today.
The deputy first minister will accompany DUP First Minister Paul Givan to the annual Somme commemoration ceremony in Dublin.
The event is due to take place at the Irish National War Memorial Gardens in Islandbridge.
It will be addressed by representatives from the Royal British Legion districts in Dublin and Northern Ireland.
It is the first time that Ms O Neill will take part in a wreath-laying commemoration organised by the Royal British Legion. She previously attended an Armistice Day service.
