The Belarusian Foundation for Cultural Solidarity has sent a request to the European Broadcasting Union.
The Belarusian Foundation for Cultural Solidarity (BFCS) has launched a campaign to exclude Belteleradiocompany from the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). Also, BFCS wants to deprive BT of the rights to participate and broadcast the Eurovision Song Contest, euroradio.pl reports.
A corresponding letter has been sent to the office of the European Broadcasting Union in Geneva.
In his post on Facebook, the representative of the fund,
Sergei Budkin, explained that they do not want to deprive Belarus of Eurovision. We want to ensure that Belteleradiocompany is not related to everything that is called European since this building is not located in Europe. It is in the territory of Evil.

On the 17th January 2021, the 10th edition of World Snow Day took place.
This year’s World Snow Day Organisers once again staged excellent events and actions to make the tenth edition memorable. For the 2021 edition of World Snow Day, 103 events and actions were implemented.
Amongst them were 50% off children’s lift passes at Stara Planina, Tornik and Kopanik Serbia’s largest ski resorts, A kids snow festival at Igora (RUS), kids safety day at Furano Ski Resort (JPN), free access to cross-country trails at Yellowknife (CAN) and discounted private ski lessons at Levi (FIN).

(ATR) The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) awards European media rights to the Beijing 2022 and Paris 2024 Paralympic Games to Infront.

The agreement reached this week covers 51 European territories excluding the UK for 2022 and the UK and France for 2024.
As part of the deal, the IPC said Infront Productions will work with Paralympic sport stakeholders in between the Games to maximize the storytelling potential of each event and provide athletes broader exposure.
“We are now one year in to arguably the most important decade yet for the Paralympic Movement, a decade whereby we want to unlock the potential of the Paralympic Games and do more to drive social inclusion for the world’s one billion persons with disabilities,” Andrew Parsons, IPC President, said in a statement.
