Officially elected members of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) at the Annual General Meeting held on the occasion of the 2003 World Championships in Paris, in less than a decade the Table Tennis Federation of Kosovo made its presence felt.
Now there are major steps forward, strides that enhance the status of table tennis in the south east European region.
Mr. Beqiri elected to the Executive Board of the National Olympic Committee

A new four year Olympic cycle commences in 2021; on Thursday 25th March at the General Assembly of the Kosovo Olympic Committee, Mr. Jeton Beqiri, President of the Table Tennis Federation of Kosovo, became the newest member to be elected to the Executive Board of the National Olympic Committee.

On the final day of the World Table Tennis Star Contender event at the Lusail Sports Hall in Doha, Qatar, officials and staff from the ITTF, WTT and ETTU met to discuss various issues. In attendance from the ITTF Executive Committee were: Mr. Khalil Al-Mohannadi, Mrs. Petra Sörling, Mr. Zoran Primorac, together with ITTF Staff: Mr. Steve Dainton, Mr. Raul Calin and Mr. Mounir Bessah.
The European Table Tennis Union was represented by Mr. Igor Levitin, President, Mr. Pedro Moura, Deputy President, and Mr. ilya Kositsyn, Aide to the President.
Amongst many discussion points, the key agenda items of discussion were related to the future Calander of events, the World Ranking and hosting different categories of events in Europe in 2021 and the future.

EUSA holds virtual meeting with European Table Tennis Union Wednesday, 27 January 2021
The European University Sports Association (EUSA) has held a virtual meeting with the European Table Tennis Union (ETTU) to discuss the two organisations respective activities.
The EUSA and the ETTU, who have been official partners since signing a Memorandum of Understanding in 2017, provided updates on their work together and talked about future cooperation.
Sports manager Besim Aliti, assistant sports manager Liam Smith and international relations officer Lea Medvesek were present for EUSA.
The ETTU was represented by secretary general Richard Scruton, deputy secretary general Pierre Kass, press officer Milica Nikolic and administration officer Ana Ivosevic.
