This is revealed in a report , done by the Agricultural University of Iceland at the request of Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture Kristján Þór Júlíusson, Iceland produces 43 percent of vegetables consumed in the country, 90 percent of meat, 96 percent of eggs, and 99 percent of dairy products. It does, by contrast, only produce one percent of grains used for human consumption in the country.
