Part of ‘Dungeons & Dragons’ Filmed in Iceland Michelle Rodriguez. Scenes for the adventure/fantasy film Dungeons & Dragons, set to be released in the US in March of 2023, were recently filmed in Iceland, with the participation of between 60 and 70 people, Morgunblaðið reports. In part of the film, Icelandic landscape will play an important role. The cast will include movie stars  such as Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Justice Smith, Regé-Jean Page and Hugh Grant. The film will be written and directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley. The scenes shot in Iceland were the first ones to be shot for the film, which will almost exclusively be filmed at Titanic Studios in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Death Investigated as Manslaughter Morgunblaðið reports. His name was Daníel Eiríksson. His death is being investigated as a manslaughter, states Chief Superintendent Margeir Sveinsson. The investigation involves finding out how the victim suffered the injuries that led to his death. On Saturday, three men were arrested in connection with the case, two of whom were later released. The third one, who is in his 20s, was remanded in custody for five days by the Reykjanes District Court, in the interest of the investigation. He claims this was an accident. According to mbl.is, the case is not believed to be connected to the murder committed on the street Rauðagerði, Reykjavík, in February, nor is it believed to be connected to organized crime.
