Sesamy Raises €4M in Seed Funding
Sesamy, a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup allowing people to purchase audio and ebooks online for any kind of device, raised €4m in seed funding.
Backers included GP Bullhound, Edastra and Peter Dahlberg, Founder and ex-CEO of AniCura. In conjunction with the funding, Per Roman, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at GP Bullhound, and Hampus Hellermark, Associate at GP Bullhound, will be joining Sesamy’s board.
The company intends to use the funds for international expansion throughout 2021.
Founded in Sweden in 2020 by Måns Ulvestam, Karl Rosander, and Markus Ahlstrand, Sesamy provides a platform that allows people to purchase audio and ebooks online for any kind of device.
