Have a Drone? Russia Wants To Make Sure They Can Kill It

The new mobile Zashchita system will help take out enemy drones. Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), or drones, have the potential to be a force multiplier to be used against an adversary on the battlefield. However, just as attempts are being developed to utilize drones as an offensive weapon, there are now efforts to counter drones. Last week, the Russian-based Ruselectronics Group, which is part of the state tech corporation Rostec, announced that it has developed a new mobile system, dubbed the Zashchita, to counter unmanned aerial vehicles. “A mobile counter-drone system that fits into three briefcases has been created,” the Rostec press office told Tass. “The system is capable of jamming drone control within a radius of 2 km irrespective of the time of day and weather conditions, staying invisible and invulnerable to radio countermeasures. It takes no more than 30 minutes to deploy the system.”

Iran still in crosshairs of U.S. foreign policy and Israeli-Saudi meddling Towards the end of 2020, former President Donald Trump was said to have been restrained by his advisors from bombing Iran in an attempt to destroy its growing nuclear program. His aides finally were able to dissuade him by explaining that doing so could ignite a conflict that could easily escalate out of control in the dying days of his presidency. ran foreign minister Mohammad Zarif Photo: MGN Online Then in early January, Iran’s foreign minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif said Iraqi intelligence warned that Israeli agents were planning to attack the U.S. military in Iraq to provide Mr. Trump with a pretext for launching an attack against Iran. Donald Trump leaves Joe Biden a booby trap|lustesas|note

1 2021/01/30 18:21 フォローしました United States (US) President Joe Biden is expected to widely reset US relations with Africa, which his predecessor Donald Trump reduced to a new low. Biden has already reversed a raft of bad Trump decisions around the world, from rejoining the Paris climate agreement to ending construction of the Mexican border wall. But one of Trump s decisions – a parting shot in December 2020 – will not be so easy to correct. The hapless Western Sahara was apparently just an expendable pawn in Trump s larger policy of persuading Middle East and North African Muslim states to acknowledge Israel. He had already brokered the recognition of Israel by the United Arabs Emirates, Bahrain and Sudan. The last was also a quid pro quo deal in which Trump agreed to remove Sudan from America s lis
