On Tuesday at 14.00 CET, leading MEPs on EU-UK relations will hold a press conference on the final consent vote on the EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement. The European Parliament will debate and vote on giving its consent to the agreement that sets the rules for the future relationship between the EU and the UK on Tuesday. In the resolution assessing the agreement, MEPs insist that, along with the Withdrawal Agreement, the trade and cooperation agreement must be fully implemented, and stress Parliament s role in scrutinising the practical application of the deal. Following the plenary debate, and before the results of the vote on the consent and accompanying resolution are announced (on Wednesday morning), leading MEPs will hold a joint press conference to set out their views on the final approval procedure and the future of EU-UK relations.
