REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL– CUSTOMER ANALYSIS AND COLLECTION STRATEGY CONSULTANT APRIL 2021

1.0 Background The AECF (Africa Enterprise Challenge Fund) is a non-profit institution supporting early and growth-stage businesses – through the provision of patient capital – to innovate, create jobs, leverage investments and markets to create resilience and sustainable incomes for rural poor and marginalised communities in Africa. AECF’s strategy is focused on agribusiness/agriculture and renewable energy sectors with increased support to climate technologies, deepened focus on gender, youth, and employment, aimed at attaining the institution’s vision of ‘A Prosperous and Enterprising Rural Africa’. Since 2008, AECF has invested in 268 businesses across sub-Saharan Africa focusing on Agribusiness, Renewable Energy and Climate Technologies. As of 2018, we have impacted more than 17 million lives, created over 12,000 jobs and leveraged over US$ 750 million in matching funds from the private sector.

In-depth study on household production, nutrition and consumption in Beira, Mozambique

Abstract This work was undertaken as part of the CGIAR Research Program on Agriculture for Nutrition and Health (A4NH) and Roots Tubers and Bananas (RTB). Funding support for this study was provided by the UK Department for International Development (DFID) under the Scaling Up Sweet Potato for Agriculture and Nutrition (SUSTAIN) project and A4NH. SUSTAIN is a 6‐year partnership (2013–18), led by CIP, to scale up the nutrition benefits of biofortified orange‐fleshed sweetpotato (OFSP). The goal is to reach 1.2 million households with children under‐5 years of age in Bangladesh, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique and Rwanda. SUSTAIN supports integrated interventions in
