A power cut which knocked out the electricity supply to 2,338 properties on Thursday morning has been resolved – but a similar problem in the same area will take longer to fix.
UK Power Networks said a high voltage overhead electricity line fault was behind the issue which left homes in and around Downham Market without electricity at 7.40am.
It affected homes and businesses across nine postcodes in west Norfolk, but was fully repaired by 9am.
However, another power cut happened at 8.45am, affecting 14 postcodes in King s Lynn, Wisbech, Sandringham and the surrounding areas.
