Reading the Bible during the pandemic has given Christians increased trust in God, according to a survey by the Bible Society.
In the poll, some 42% said reading their Bible had given them an increased sense of hope in God during the crisis, a figure that rose to around 50% of 45 – 54-year-olds.
Christian Today reports, almost two thirds of participants said reading the Bible had enabled their confidence to remain the same instead of dipping.
Over a third of respondents reported reading their Bibles more during the pandemic, with the biggest rise (53%) occurring among 25 – 34-year-olds.
