This happened shortly after Biden signed the executive order revoking their permit on January 20. “I believe this will send a concerning signal to infrastructure developers that resonates far beyond our project and will stifle innovation for a practical transition towards sustainable energy,” Richard Prior, president of the Keystone Pipeline project, said in an email on January 20, Reuters reported. According to TC Energy, the pipeline was supposed to run from Alberta to the Texas Gulf Coast and sparked controversy for partially building on Native American land. However, the

Pipefitters union supported Biden and lost tens of thousands of jobs - www independentsentinel com

As Joel Pollack writes, the pipefitters’ union supported Joe Biden for president. Biden has said all along he would kill the Keystone XL pipeline. He plans to kill fracking and all fossil fuels. The plan is to send us back to the pre-coal era while the elite has all the fuel they need. Letting the peasants have too much heat and A/C just won’t do so they will make it too expensive. We know that at least twenty thousand jobs will be lost. Democrats are regressive, pretending to be progressive. The union is getting heat and pretending they didn’t know. We all knew.

Pollak: Biden Kills Up to 70,000 Jobs on First Day in Office

Pollak: Biden Kills Up to 70,000 Jobs on First Day in Office 22 Jan 2021 President Joe Biden’s first day in office may have been historic in more ways than one: he may have set a single-day record for the number of jobs killed by an American president. Biden revoked the permit for the Keystone XL pipeline, as promised. In so doing, he killed some 11,000 direct jobs that the pipeline’s construction was to have created, and an estimated 60,000 indirect jobs in secondary, related industries. Over 1,000 workers already on the job mostly union workers will be laid off as a result of the decision, even if it is litigated, as many expect it will be, in the courts.

Pipefitters Union Gets Shafted With Biden s Keystone Pipeline Cancellation

Those are the key elements of my American Rescue Plan. Biden has only been in office for 24 hours and he’s doing little to rescue America. His new fracking ban has caused gas prices to skyrocket, and he is well on his way to tanking what is left of the American economy. The pipefitters union @battleground ua is mad that @JoeBiden killed Keystone XL and, with it, tens of thousands of jobs. (https://t.co/8w37fKTsV9) The union endorsed Biden for president. (https://t.co/q2G5TBTaXs) Biden has questions to answer. But so does the union leadership.
