In its latest round of support for nonprofits amid the pandemic, the Greater Cleveland COVID-19 Rapid Response Fund coalition awarded $238,000 to four organizations serving Cuyahoga, Lake and Geauga counties, according to a news release.
The fund created last March by a coalition of Northeast Ohio philanthropic, corporate and civic partners to support nonprofits during the pandemic has now awarded nearly $2.8 million since the mid-November start of biweekly Phase II grants and raised more than $3.5 million in contributions.
Funding partners urge others to contribute to the fund with donations of any amount, which are tax deductible.
