The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) has been doing a lot to make masses realise how climate change is affecting us
The world has been facing what not in the last one year. The Coronavirus pandemic has upended our lives. We have seen curfews, lockdowns as well as the world coming to a standstill. India recently reported highest number of COVID-19 cases in one day. Big business corporation became bankrupt and stopped operations, employees laid off, people stuck in one place without proper food and water, medical professionals couldn’t meet their families for months and the list goes on.

Hanoi (VNA) – National Assembly (NA) Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, who is
also Chairman of the
fifth session on April 12 – the first after several positions of the council
were filled.
Speaking at the event, Hue said that along with efforts to
successfully organize the NA’s 11th session – the last of the 14th tenure, preparations for the elections of deputies to the 15th legislature
and all-level People’s Councils in the 2021-2026 tenure have been actively made
since the NEC’s 4th session.

OTTAWA - A new report shows Canada s greenhouse gas emissions increased slightly in 2019, the same year Ottawa established a national price on carbon.
The national inventory report filed each April to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change says in 2019, the country s emissions were 730 million tonnes of carbon dioxide and its equivalents.
Once in the atmosphere carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases trap heat, which causes climate change.

OTTAWA A new report shows Canada’s greenhouse gas emissions increased slightly in 2019, the same year Ottawa established a national price on carbon.
The national inventory report filed each April to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change says in 2019, the country’s emissions were 730 million tonnes of carbon dioxide and its equivalents.
Once in the atmosphere carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases trap heat, which causes climate change.
The 2019 report shows Canada emitted about one million tonnes more of these gases than the previous year.
