New Delhi: The US has welcomed the conviction of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) operations commander Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi on terror financing charges but called for action against him for his alleged role in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.
Lakhvi, the key conspirator of the 2008 Mumbai attacks, was on Friday convicted and sentenced for 15 years by a Pakistani court in a terror-financing case.
