The National Park Service have initiated a search for a missing Twentynine Palms man in Joshua Tree National Park. The national park received a report of the missing man on Thursday, June 10. Patrick Lynn Welz, 38 was last seen on June 5 when he drive to Riverside to visit his father. Park staff located his truck in the Indian Cove parking lot on June 10. Welz is described as a white male, 5’10”, 197 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has both a dragon and a United State Marine Corps insignia tattoo on his arms. He is believed to have been wearing a white tee shirt, blue jeans, and either tennis shoes or black work boots. Joshua Tree rangers are asking anyone who may have seen or talked to Welz to please call or text the NPS Investigation Tip Line at 760-401-3075.

(MAYSVILLE, Mo.) As the 20th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks approaches, a local community has come together to remember and pay tribute to fallen heroes that served during America’s War on Terror.
Maysville Jr/Sr High School hosted the National Remembering Our Fallen memorial that features 5,280 photos of fallen service members whose lives were lost in the years since the terror attacks of September 11, 2001.
(COLUMBUS, Ohio)âOhio Governor Mike DeWine today announced the appointment of Anthony Moraleja to the Pike County Court.
Moraleja, of Waverly, will assume office on March 22, 2021, and will be replacing Judge Paul Price, who has been elected to a different bench. Moraleja will need to run for election in November 2022 in order to complete the unexpired term ending December 31, 2024.
Moraleja served as Pike County Assistant Prosecutor since 2007. Previously, Moraleja served as Magistrate at the Waverly Mayorâs Court for seven years. Moralejaâs experience includes additional legal work at the Ohio Public Defenderâs Office in Pike County, as well as 27 years of legal work in the private sector. Moraleja also served in the United State Marine Corps and Corps Reserve.
