A Christian nurse in Pakistan and her family have gone into hiding after being accused of committing blasphemy by a Muslim co-worker. Many across the country are upset after videos surfaced online of her being attacked by coworkers.
Tabitha Nazir Gill, a 30-year-old Christian nurse, was accused of blasphemy Thursday at Sobhraj Maternity Hospital in Karachi city in Sindh province, where she worked for nine years, the United States-based persecution advocacy organization International Christian Concern reports.

Thrice, Dele Bandele attempted suicide but failed. Sadly, the fourth attempt sent the digital strategist on ‘a journey of no return’ one week after his birthday and left his family hugely devastated.
Bandele had been declared missing by his friends after he was last seen at Omole Phase II, Lagos, only to be found dead on January 13 in circumstances suspected to be a suicide. His last known location was said to be at the Third Mainland Bridge – a notorious suicide spot inwards Lagos Island.
In a suicide note he left behind, Bandele disclosed that he had fought depression for seven years and attempted suicide on three occasions but was discouraged by thoughts of the consequences to those around him, especially his mother.

Hundreds of people have rallied in several French towns and cities in protests called by anti-capitalist and environmental groups against e-commerce giant Amazon.

Protesting at the site, between 800 and 1,000 people formed a human chain to show the size of the project, with multicoloured balloons floated 18 metres (60 feet) up to indicate the height of the planned five-storey warehouse.
“It’s two years that the citizens of Fournes and its surroundings have fought against the installation of a giant Amazon warehouse,” said Raphael Pradeau, spokesman of French citizens’ activist group Attac.
