Hello, Mane Landers. I hope you all had a fantastic week as we’re more than halfway through January. School and work has been keeping me busy but I can look forward to some great games to watch this weekend. We have plenty of soccer news to get to today, so let’s get to the links.
Orlando Pride Sign Jordyn Listro
The Orlando Pride signed midfielder Jordyn Listro to a one-year contract with an option for an additional year. Listro made three starts in the NWSL Fall Series last year and the Toronto native now has her green card so she won’t take up an international slot on the roster. The signing helps Head Coach Marc Skinner bolster the midfield as he prepares the Pride for the 2021 NWSL season.
Jordan Morris is thrilled to be back with the United States Men’s National Team for the first time in almost a year.
Morris and Sounders teammate Cristian Roldan recently joined up with the Stars & Stripes for a joint U-23 USMNT and senior USMNT camp in Bradenton, Fla., as the U.S. Program prepares for a jam-packed schedule in 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this marks Morris’ first involvement since the same camp at the beginning of 2020.
“It’s just amazing to be back in the team with the guys and back at it because we know this is a massive year ahead, both for the [U-23] Olympic team and the full team,” said Morris. “There’s a lot going on, a lot of big competitions, so it’s good to be back and start off a big year.”

Merry Monday morning, Mane Landers! Well, that was quite a week, wasn’t it? I’m not going to go into any of it or my personal thoughts about it, but suffice to say, it was unprecedented and shocking.
The other thing I noticed when I tore my gaze from the news was the NFL playoff games. Good for them. I don’t have a dog in that hunt, but as I grew up in Maryland, I’m happy that the Baltimore Ravens won their wild card game against the Tennessee Titans. Let’s get to the links.
Dotson is among 26 U-23 squad members who will train alongside 12 members of the United States Men s National Team through January 24, at which point several U-23 players will be elevated to the full USMNT roster in advance of a planned match at the end of the month.
The U-23s are gathering as a group for the first time since the suspension of the Concacaf Men s Olympic Qualifying Championship ten months ago and will use this last opportunity for head coach Jason Kreis to build and evaluate the roster ahead of the resumption of the qualifying tournament in March.
Dotson played for Oregon State from 2015-18, and was selected by Minnesota United FC in the second round of the 2019 MLS SuperDraft. He played every minute for the Beavers his senior season, serving as a steadying force in the OSU midfield. New England Revolution: Matt Turner and Henry Kessler get USMNT call-up

Tuesday wasn’t exactly a great day for New England Revolution fans as Diego Fagundez announced his move to Austin FC, but there was still some good news for Revs fans. Two of the club’s players got the nod for the United States Men’s National Team January camp.
Matt Turner and Henry Kessler got the nod for the camp that begins on January 9th. This isn’t a regular international window so the roster is made up of mostly MLS players. Also, the focus is on the Under-23 squad with a few senior team players also making the trip with Olympic qualifying occurring this year.
