Space war between China, Russia & US ‘imminent’ & could lead to nuclear conflict with no space arms control

A SPACE war between world powers is imminent due to the absence of space arms control and technology advances , an expert physicist warned.
China, Russia, and the US would be the main confronting powers and some may have already begun their attacks - by blocking transmissions from satellites and jamming signals.

Mark Gubrud, an adjunct assistant professor in the Curriculum in Peace, War & Defense at the University of North Carolina, said now the path to war in space is a space arms race.

The United States Space Force has re-designated the 45th Space Wing, which oversees launches on Florida’s Space Coast, as Space Launch Delta 45.
Via a virtual ceremony held at Patrick Space Force Base in Florida, the change occurred May 11, 2021. Space Launch Delta 45’s commander is Brig. Gen. Stephen Purdy.

The Argus series were the only clandestine nuclear ever conducted by the United States.The rocket-launched nuclear warheads were set off at very high altitudes over the South Atlantic,1800 km south-west of Capetown,South Africa. The purpose was to determine the effects of nuclear tests explosions on the Earth’s
magnetic field and the impact to military radar, communications, satellites and ballistic missiles electronics. The earth’s magnetic field is not only off-axis from the earth,but also off centre from the earth’s core. This means the Van Allen Radiation belts are closest to the earth in the region known as the ‘South Atlantic Anomaly’.

The air force base will change their name to Vandenberg Space Force Base.
The air force base will be redesignating the 30th Space Wing during a ceremony on May 14 on the Parade Field.
During the ceremony, the 30th Operations Group and the 30th Mission Support Group will inactivate and transition from the operations and mission support group commanders to vice commander positions.
Vandenberg officials say this new organization will help allow squadron commanders to report directly to the Space Launch Delta 30 commander creating efficiency in all areas.
The soon to be Space Force will redesignate the 30th Space Wing to Space Launch Delta 30 under the Space Operations Command of the United States Space Force.

Vandenberg Air Force Base is getting a new name.
A ceremony on Friday will redesignate the base near Lompoc and the 30
th Space Wing as Vandenberg Space Force Base and Space Launch Delta 30, under Space Operations Command, United States Space Force, according to base officials.
The new organization will allow squadron commanders to report directly to the SLD 30 commander, which the base says will create more efficiency.
Signs with the bases updated name were installed Saturday but are currently covered up.
