I hear the Rochester Police Department is changing the color of its new squad cars to all black, rather than black and white. Why? Is it to blend in with other cars on the street or to look more menacing?
There s also been social media reports (so we know how true they can be!) that the PD was ordered to remove the American flag from the squads. What s up with that?
Dear Poliakoffs,
Our condo held their annual meeting on Zoom in late January. Notice was properly given with a Zoom link. Second notice also had a Zoom link but neither link worked. I texted the board president before the meeting started, notifying the board of this and thankfully someone gave me a link to attend. So, it was just me and another resident attending…out of almost 250 condos.
The board loved not being questioned and proceeded along, but the next day residents were furious.
Was this a legal meeting, or should it have been adjourned once the board and condo manager were notified the link they gave out was incorrect, denying owners the ability to attend?
