USGA official John Bodenhamer said tickets would be available at the U.S. Women’s Open at Olympic Club, San Francisco from June 3-6, and the June 17-20 US Open at Torrey Pines outside San Diego.

Newport Country Club Will Host 2024 U S Senior Open

The United States Golf Association today announced that Newport Country Club will host the 44th U.S. Senior Open Championship. The historic venue was originally scheduled to be the host site of the 2020 championship, but it was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This will be the fifth USGA championship to be held at Newport Country Club, which hosted the inaugural U.S. Open and U.S. Amateur championships in 1895. The dates of the U.S. Senior Open are June 27-30, 2024. “Newport Country Club and the USGA have a long, rich history that dates to the club’s beginnings as a founding member club of the Association, and we are more than pleased to continue this relationship as we progress through these challenging times,” said John Bodenhamer, USGA senior managing director, Championships. “We know that the region and community will be fully supportive of the U.S. Senior Open, senior golf’s most prestigious championship.”

Dewar s Becomes ‘Official Blended Scotch Whisky Of The U.S. Open’ Dewar’s Becomes ‘Official Blended Scotch Whisky Of The U.S. Open’ The United States Golf Association recently announced a new multi-year agreement with Dewar’s Scotch Whisky to be the first official blended Scotch Whiskey of the U.S. Open.  The 121st U.S. Open Championship, scheduled for June 14-20, 2021 at Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego, California, will be the first leg of the U.S. Open that Dewar’s will be served at. “Dewar’s blended Scotch whisky, like the game itself, can trace its prestigious lineage to the windswept dunes and lush valleys of Scotland,” said Mike Davis, CEO of the U.S. Golf Association, in a prepared statement. “It’s an honor to partner with an iconic brand with a rich history that is often associated with the game. We look forward to collaborating with Dewar’s on new experiences for U.S. Open Championship fans.”
