WWE Performance Center released a video where Superstars pay tribute to the lucha legend Antonio “Discovery” Corona. He passed from complications due to cancer in May 15th 2020. He was 54 years of age when he passed.
The video stars WWE Superstars like Kalisto, Mustafa Ali, and Joaquin Wilde paying respect to their mentor. Discovery had taught several current wrestlers after he moved to Chicago in the 2000 s.
Discovery did wrestle two matches for WWE in 1997. His group, Los Cadetes del Espacio (The Space Cadets), won a six-man lucha match on the March 24, 1997 RAW show. Then they won an eight-man lucha match on the March 29, 1997 edition of Shotgun Saturday Night.
