GRCC offers free summer program to prepare high school graduates for college. Grand Rapids Community College is offering two sessions of Bridges to College Raider Ready this summer to help graduating high school seniors get ready for college. The free program is open to 2020 high school graduates or 2021 graduating seniors who plan to attend college in the fall.

th year of their collaboration to prioritize swimming lessons for children and to educate parents about drowning prevention.
The Make a Splash Virtual Tour presented by Phillips 66 will kick off with a Facebook Live event, Swim Lessons 101 with Cullen Jones and Nathan Adrian, on Wednesday, May 5, at 5:30 p.m. EDT (2:30 p.m. PDT). The two Olympians and new dads will talk about the importance of getting kids into swim lessons and answer viewers questions.
Road Trip Preparation: Goldfish Swim School Safer Swimmer Pledge Brings Greater Awareness to Water Safety
TROY, Mich., May 1, 2021 In honor of National Water Safety Month, Goldfish Swim School has launched a Safer Swimmer Pledge campaign to bring greater awareness to water safety and drowning prevention. Throughout the month of May, families are encouraged to take the pledge and promote the importance of parent-child conversations around water safety. Those who take the pledge will be entered to win one year of free swim lessons at Goldfish Swim School. Additionally, for each pledge, Goldfish Swim School will donate $1 to the USA Swimming Foundation, the philanthropic arm of USA Swimming, which supports swim lesson providers with resources, materials and grant funding to allow the opportunity for every child across the country to learn to swim.
