The facilities are all in neighboring Oregon but impact would reverberate along the entire basin. It could reduce the volume of water used for irrigation in Idaho. It would also bring about higher prices for electricity.

It was the focus of a telephone town hall meeting the Representative hosted with the Idaho Republican Party. One of my Boise counterparts fielded several calls from participants in the session and they aren’t pleased.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA The election for Orange County s 2nd Supervisorial District concludes Tuesday, March 9, to fill the vacancy in that office, according to Registrar of Voters Neal Kelley. Former Orange County Board of Supervisors Chairwoman Michelle Steel was elected to United States Representative, 48th District, in November.
Voters approved the County of Orange s Charter, which requires the Board of Supervisors to call a special election to fill a vacancy on the Board not less than 56 days nor more than 70 days after a vacancy on the Board occurs, Kelley s office reported.
