Democrat Rep. Vicente Gonzalez (D-TX) has on his three most recent financial disclosure forms filed with the clerk of the U.S. House of Representatives reported holdings worth more than $100,000 in the Bank of China, a state-owned bank run by the Chinese Communist Party.
On the second page of his calendar year 2017, 2018, and 2019 disclosure documents, Gonzalez reported the holdings valued at between $100,001 and $250,000 in the Bank of China. Each report includes a disclosure that Gonzalez earned between $2,501 and $5,000 in interest each year from the Bank of China account.
The congressman has, according to the disclosures, other holdings worth more that paid less in interest. His 2017 report, filed in 2018, for instance revealed he had between $250,001 and $500,000 in an “Everbank” account that he reported collected no interest. BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - More than 90,000 Louisianans have exercised their right to vote by casting an early ballot for the upcoming March 20 election, according to the Louisiana Secretary of Stateâs Office.
Online data shows as of March 13, 90,650 voters participated in statewide early voting.
Officials want to remind voters that the last day to early vote is Saturday, March 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Citizens who want to vote early may do so in person at the parish Registrar of Voters Office or at other designated locations. Below is a list of early voting locations in Baton Rouge.

The House passed the George Floyd Justice In Policing Act on Wednesday night with just one Republican vote. And that one Republican now says it was an accident.
Representative Lance Gooden said after the vote that he pressed the wrong button when casting his vote for the sweeping police reform bill. The Texas congressman made clear that he did not support the legislation and later changed his vote. I accidentally pressed the wrong voting button and realized it too late, Gooden wrote in a tweet that he later deleted. I have changed the official record to reflect my opposition to the partisan George Floyd Policing Act.
