That has we are seeing those higher snowfall totals in the areas north and west, as we anticipated, which is where the colder air has been. Slightly through d. It is clearing. The Stormy Weather has moved finally out of the picture. Stuff kind of regenerated from yesterday evening and there were some intense storms. Kind of a little bumpy. Just north of the city. Lot of folks got the thunder park. The intense park was up in Baltimore County. Moved into Harper County. That activity generated Tornado Warning, although we havent had any reports of tornados. It was up in the clouds. There were gusty winds, minor damage, lot of rain. This morning we take a look at the radar and satellite combination. We do have some fog. Lot of moisture right at ground level. With these chilly temperatures coming in. You can see to the right and left on the extremes out towards the edge of the picture, you see some clouds out over the water and mountains in West Virginia and garrett county. That green you see around the radar site, west of washington, thats the sterling, virginia, site. Thats ground cover on the radar. Were not picking up any activity this morning
To give us an update the on the conditions. Hopefully it will be dry. Reporter were starting to see light drizzle. Heres the problem. Its been freezing and thats the concern for the evening commute. Weve been watching the roadway during the course of the evening. So far, things looking good, normal volume. The deal is with the light drizzle coming down during the course of the evening we could address the possibility of frozen areas. Everybody is sick of this winter. I mean, weve been seeing one storm after another and theyve been nuisance events. Winter needs to go away. We spoke to a few people. I think this winter is pretty great. We dodged a lot of snow but i still cant wait for the spring to come. I dont like the winter. I wish we had sun, 75 degrees, nice and warm, but its too cold right now.
