Kennewick Kidnapping Suspects Finally Caught By Police
Two sought after suspects in Kennewick are behind bars after being on the run on several charges including kidnapping and assault of a female victim. Kennewick Police had been pursuing them after reports of kidnapping and assaulting a 36-year old female in Kennewick on December 1st. KPD after a SWAT stand-off last night, arrested the final suspect in the case.
The incident occurred on December 1st at 119 N Volland St in Kennewick. Kennewick Police filed the report and here are the details:
On December 1, 2020, officers responded to a reported kidnapping and assault. Upon contact with the 36-year-old female victim, it was reported that she had gone to 119 N Volland St, Kennewick, WA, a suspected drug location, to purchase narcotics. Once inside she was allegedly detained and held against her will while being assaulted and robbed. The victim was later released and was treated at an area hospital for minor injuries.
Tuckerton Man Wanted for Attempted Murder Caught in Atlantic City
A Tuckerton man, wanted for shooting another man in Little Egg Harbor Township, has been taken into custody in Atlantic City.
Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer says Donald Rutter, 61, of Tuckerton had been on the loose since attempted murder charges were filed against him early this month. Authorities say that on the evening of January 5th, it was Rutter who shot Thomas Jarvis in the midsection. The incident happened at Jarvis Marine on Radio Road.

Jarvis was rushed to the hospital and treated. He s been released from the hospital and is said to be recovering from his injuries.

Illegal Alien Who Stole Identity for Employment in the U.S. Sentenced to Federal Prison
A man from Mexico who re-entered the United States illegally and stole another s identity for purposes of employment was sentenced January 27, 2021 to two years in federal prison.
Heriberto Arellano-Almontes, age 57, from Mexico, received the prison term after a July 22, 2020, guilty plea to aggravated identity theft.
In a plea agreement, Arellano-Almontes admitted that he is an alien citizen of Mexico. Arellano-Almontes was previously removed from the United States to Mexico on or about May 5, 2004. On August 17, 2019, Arellano-Almontes was arrested by law enforcement in Crawford County, Iowa, for Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated. Arellano-Almontes was found to be employed at Midwest Industries, Inc., in Ida Grove, Iowa, utilizing another s identity where he filed an I-9 Employment Eligibility Form and W-4 Tax W

Ty Gerard Garbin, of Hartland, Michigan, admitted his guilt in a change of plea hearing conducted by Chief United States District Court Judge Robert J. Jonker. The Court scheduled Garbin’s sentencing on July 8, 2021, at 3:00pm. He remains in the custody of the United States Marshal pending sentencing.
Garbin pleaded guilty pursuant to an agreement with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Michigan. Garbin has agreed to fully cooperate with federal and state law enforcement in the investigation and prosecution of all criminal activity, including the conspiracy to kidnap the Governor. On behalf of more than two dozen partner agencies, Assistant Director in Charge Kristi K. Johnson of the FBI’s Los Angeles Field Office announced the results of “Operation Lost Angels,” an initiative which began on January 11 and recently culminated in the recovery of 33 children.
During January Human Trafficking Awareness Month the FBI worked with the Los Angeles Police Department, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, and more than two dozen law enforcement and non-governmental partners to identify, locate, and recover missing children, particularly those who have been or were suspected of being sexually exploited and/or trafficked.
Of the 33 children recovered in Operation Lost Angels, eight were being sexually exploited at the time of recovery. Two were recovered multiple times during the operation while on the “track,” a common term used to describe a known location for commercial sex trafficking.
