CHICAGO (WLS) The crucial, coast-to-coast job of securing COVID-19 vaccine shipments is being handled by the nation s oldest law enforcement agency: the United States Marshals Service.
In existence since President George Washington installed the first U.S. Marshals officers in 1789, more than 231 years later the I-Team has interviewed the country s current director whose last name also happens to be Washington. We protect people and products said Donald Washington, director of the USMS.
Securing the COVID-19 is a top priority and the US Marshals Service is the agency tasked with the job.
