By Steve Bailey Dec 21, 2020 Cleveland, OH - The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Jeffery Marflak. Marflak is wanted by the Drug Enforcement Agency and the United States Marshals Service for conspiracy to distribute cocaine. Marflak, 27, is a white male, standing approximately 5 feet 11 inches and weighing 140 pounds. Marflak’s last known address is near the 2100 block of Quail Street, Lakewood. Marflak is possibly homeless and known to frequent Lakewood and Cleveland’s west side. The U.S. Attorney s Office for the Western District of New York says following the death of George Floyd, thousands of protesters gathered outside of Niagara Square in the City of Buffalo on May 30.  On that day, The U.S. Attorney s Office says law enforcement officers from the United States Marshals Service, the Department of Homeland Security, the Federal Protective Service, and the Buffalo Police Department were deployed to protect the Jackson Courthouse when some protesters became violent.

Two arrested for Clarmar-Main shooting

The Sun Prairie Police Department (SPPD) on Dec. 18 announced two arrests in connection with the Dec. 9 shots fired incident at Clarmar Drive and West Main Street. On Wednesday, Dec. 9 at approximately 6:42 p.m., the Sun Prairie Police Department responded to the intersection of West Main Street and Clarmar Drive for a report of multiple shots fired. Preliminary investigation indicates a targeted shooting between the occupants of two vehicles, a dark colored sedan and a white Nissan Pathfinder. The Nissan Pathfinder sustained damage from bullet rounds and that vehicle has been seized by the police department. The dark colored sedan fled from the area.

(WALB) - On December 17th, 2020, Investigators with the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office, Special Operations Division were contacted by the United States Marshals Service, who was looking for a wanted fugitive in the Lowndes County area, according to Sheriff Ashley Paulk. Davontae Deandre Brown had an active warrant for murder issued from Adel, in Cook County. Marshals and Investigators were able to determine Brown’s location, on McAfina Trail, where he was taken into custody.
