Pierre, SD, USA / DRGNews May 28, 2021 | 8:57 AM An Eagle Butte man has been indicted by a federal grand jury for two counts of Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. Charles Moran, age 43, pled not guilty. Moran was convicted of Sexual Abuse of a Minor in December 1997. As a result of this conviction, he is required to register as a sex offender. The Indictment alleges that between March 20, 2021, and March 31, 2021, and again between November 18, 2020, and February 21, 2021, Moran, a person required to register under the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act, and a sex offender by reason of conviction under Federal Law, failed to properly register as a sex offender and update his registration.
