Cash seized as a result of vehicle pulled over for speeding. (Saskatchewan RCMP)
Cash, cigarettes, and cocaine seized all because of some speeding, according to RCMP.
On Friday last week, RCMP say an officer who was part of Combined Traffic Services Saskatchewan on Highway 1 near Wolseley spotted a vehicle driving about 164 kilometres per hour.
The vehicle was pulled over and the officer allegedly saw illegal cigarettes and cash inside, so they searched the vehicle.
Police say that search uncovered illegal cigarettes, 31 grams of cocaine and $140,000 in Canadian cash.
An Edmonton man is being charged on seven counts, including possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
