DRIVE-THROUGHS, MAJOR STREETS COLLIDE: One of the lesser-known complications of COVID-19 is apparently drive-through-itis and the resulting traffic congestion it causes.
Last week, Laurence DiCola followed up on an email from early in the pandemic on the awful traffic pattern at Petroglyph Plaza on Golf Course Road just south of Paseo del Norte. Letter: Is UDO already a done deal?
By James C. Schippers
I just finished reading many letters that were written to the Holland Planning Commission by various Holland city residents.
Each one was very well-written with facts and examples of other cities that went through similar changes. They also pointed out where the proposed changes will not fully provide what the Unified Development Ordinance indicates will be the result.
