Hasan hands over combined harvester machines to Rangunia farmers 325 CHATTOGRAM, May 1, 2021 (BSS) – Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud today distributed combined harvester (rice cutting and threshing device) machines among farmers in Rangunia of the district. He handed over the keys of the combined harvester machines to the farmers of Rangunia at a 50 percent subsidy price under the government’s agricultural mechanization project through integrated management. Dr Hasan handed over the keys of a combined harvester machine this noon to farmer Kazi Zahurul Islam in Majumdarkhil area of Rangunia’s Gumai Bill, a popular grain store in Chattogram. Upazila Chairman Swajan Kumar Talukder, Upazila Nirbahi Office Masudur Rahman, mayor of the municipality Shahjahan Sikder and Agriculture Officer Karima Akhter among others attended the function.

Hasan urges BNP to stand beside people shunning hatred 227 DHAKA, April 29, 2021 (BSS)- Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud today urged BNP and Nagarik Oikkya to stand beside the commoners along with the government shunning the politics of hatred. “I would like to urge Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and other leaders of his party-led alliance to stand beside the countrymen and the marginal people like Awami League avoiding the politics of hatred against the government. Please come . . . let us work together for the people,” he said. The minister made the call while addressing a function of distribution of Eid gifts among the underprivileged children organized by Awami League Dhaka South City (DSC) unit on the premises of Central Shaheed Minar.
